Stephen Balliet was born in 1753 to Paulus Balliet and Maria Magdalena Wotring [1]. Stephen Balliet was a colonel in the Revolutionary army [2]. Most notably, Stephen Balliet was involved in the battle of Brandywine in 1777 [3].
